Was wondering if someone was to stay at the Sunset Station Casino is it safe to walk from there to Queen Vixen?

Just looking at options for staying in Las Vegas/Henderson Area.

It would be about a $70 cab fare one way from mid strip. So was just trying to do the math and figure stuff out.

PS... I was a paying member just let my membership lapse until after the holidays. Also contributed before but place is shut down in MN. For those of you on this board long enough know which one I am talking about that was great and was shut down in MN....so that is why now most MN mongers are not reporting too much info in our home state. They seem to be getting shut down after 1 or 2 reviews.

I have done this a number of times and have never had a problem - this is a safe area. Also, from Sunset Station you are within walking of a number of places, including Queen Vixen, Magical Paradise, and Rio. Check the website "kayak.com" for the best prices for rooms at Sunset Station.

Rio is a little bit of a hike. Probably about a good 1/2 mile. Certainly worth the walk.
