The risk to the client during a bust is probably going to depend a lot on just how extensive a sweep
LE is making, what their goals are (a prostitution bust, an immigration sweep, a drug bust, what have you), and, sadly, the political climate at the time.
Will they take down your personal imformation? Chances are but what they do with it will again depend on the goals.
If they charge you, the only thing you should really consider saying is, "Lawyer." If they don't charge you, again, you don't have to say anything and, as I understand procedures (which is largely limited to too many episodes of "Law & Order") they can't detain you for very long (length of time is probably going to depend on local regs, as well as the mood of
LE and the DAs).
Whatever happens in a bust, I wouldn't consider trying to throw my weight around; it could just torque them off and really complicate things for you.
