For a brief moment in time i work for a massage co that charged 200 an hour.

Client would then haggle price.
pay a lower price when it was clearly stated therapeutic only
then offer me a 20 tip to give them a happy ending.
which would totaly 120 paid

the means i would have been paid 50 total to give a happy ending
no way in hell id accept that.

then the client leaves pissed off they paid 100 for a therapeutic massage not tipping me and i wouldnt give them a happy ending.

if the price says 200 why would we offer services for a lesser price?

if they paid the 200 everyone would have been happy... instead they do not come back id say its their fault not ours?

i suppose in their defense u cant blame them for trying?

i believe consistancy is a good thing. no worry about diffrent tips for different therapist etc

what are your opinions

Agreed. If the price was set at $200, it should have been non-negotiable. But with such a high price tag, I really couldn't blame him for trying to haggle. Nuts, I don't know if I'd even try for a massage at that price point; it'd really have to depend on what the word was about the place and what impressions/vibes I got from any advertising.

I would have to say if it was made clear that it was therapeutic only for set fee for company. Then he was in the fault. Now if you open yourself to negotiations this will occur and you know from being here information is shared. That is why someone will try. I perfectly understand why you would negotiate. Trying to satisfy customer along with gaining business. Logical. Unfortunately it feeds the problem with inconsistent pricing for both sides. If client negotiates price way down from established fee they shouldn't expect expect happy ending unless willing to tip accordingly.

I think just by the high number $200 you are implying more then just a theraputic massage. I can get excellent theraputic massages for $80-$100 fully knowing there are no HJ (hand jobs), BJ (blowjobs) and FS (full service). There may be limits on how much service management will allow.">extras so what would motivate me to go someplace that charges $200 with no HJ (hand jobs), BJ (blowjobs) and FS (full service). There may be limits on how much service management will allow.">extras. I bet that place did not stay in business very long.

that place did not stay open very long due to poor management i quit before they got me arested for entrapment...

they are all solo now

from what i hear their are others who have been in business 4+ years
them i do not know much about.

personally i like the higher price i feel both know what to expect. noting needs to be talked about.
not everyone is willing to pay 200
on my side i was getting much better upscale clients vs the typical massage place i worked at..
so that i do miss....
