It seems like most the ones that advertise in Citypages are actually legit. Not a bad concept. We're stupid enough to think there will be more and occasionally they hook a repeat customer who didn't get what they'd hoped for but still got a pleasantly surprising good massage.

You just need to be smart with how you play the game when you enter these places.
Unless you get completely naked, you should never expect anything more than just a massage.

I think it's more the quality of the talent. They are mostly circuit riders only here for a short time before moving on. nothing invested in quality of service. 30 years ago you would see a lot more locals who took pride in their places and the quality of their work.

Exactly Stroker. Or just do what I did recently. Act offended when told to DIY yourself and tell them "What the hell are you doing? You are supposed to touch me! I'm not supposed to do it myself!" I have turned diy into a art....my last 4 times offered diy...I asked if she could but lotion on it for me...or oil......instead of just giving it to me for myself to apply.....I got THEM to put it on for me, and rub it in....then they say u do.....I say...Im close...just finish it...I have extra tip...20 minutes later I pop, tip, and get hugged and told...our little secret! shhhhhhh.
