Yes. Sugar's has seen better days. But it's not quite as bad as the other review from 09/2011. Yes. The SIN tax has slowed business down a lot, but if you ask your waitress she will hook you up with some free cover passes.

There's NO truth about the kitchen being broken. I've had quite a few meals there and the food has always been good. There are a few specials for you penny-pinching fools. I usually go for something a little nicer than a plain old burger or cheap-ass steak (not the best choice, but it is cheap). The better steaks are worth the extra few dollars.

As for the music, it has gone ghetto very much. I was fortunate that Leilani was a fantastic dancer who kept me distracted from the music. There was some great non-hip-hop crap, but it wasn't enough. Thanks to Leilani, I didn't care or notice. Leilani is a very beautiful and personable dancer. Her dances were sensual and arousing. Need I say more?

Yes, I'd recommend this place. Not as good as it was 10 years ago, but it will do. Just get some free cover passes, find out when the half-price bottle service is going on and take a few friends to get the deal sealed. You will have fun, but only if you're not a douche!
