This topic refers to Paradise Spa

It appear that after many, many years this spa is closed because of bad behavior by the owner and for non payment of related fines. She likely has enough for retirement and the lease has finally expired.

Thirteen years back it was my first venture to an amp. There were no sites to learn from and I didn't know Craig's List. A buddy and I would go there and I am not sure how we found the place.

I first learned here that they may like you, but they like the money more. I learned that if you are polite and you offer a good tip, you get a better massage. I remember Angela and can still picture another favorite.

There weren't many amps back then, but after a year I gravitated to the few others and for some reason didn't go back to Paradise Spa.

Paradise has been on a downhill slide for several years now. Asking extravagant fees for shoddy service is not usually a good business model. Angels, Aloha and Vegas spas should take note.

What are your opinions regarding the downslide? Are Vegas spas gouging dollars because the clientele is tourists, high rollers, and the guy who caught some casino luck?

I was there a year ago, but had a pre-arranged provider and did not visit any AMPs.

Good luck, y'all!

That place has sucked for decades. The service was never good in my experence. The two places across the street that are are gone were much better.

The noted Vegas spas in particular have been known widely throughout the local monger community as rip off joints. They survive mainly off tourists, most of whom are led there by taxi/limo drivers and hotel contacts who receive healthy fees for providing sheep to clip.
Fortunately they are slowly being noted through the national community and will thus suffer the same fate, hopefully sooner rather than later.

My memory is foggy, but I think not going back had something to do with the tip. The last time there, I tipped less than usual. I told her I was short $25 and because I was a regular I thought she would be okay. I remember her yelling at me and following me outside the amp and still yelling. My partner in crime was cheap(still is) and I think the same trip they told him not to come back.

Two other times at two different "tourist trap" places I was told not to come back. I had received a pretty good massage. I got up and left when they wouldn't negotiate their HE prices. I did tip for the massage.
