Hello! this site has proven to be a very good venue to advertise. It started up right on the heels of the demise of CL and not that I used CL anymore I did miss the response levels it cranked out when you posted an ad.

so much for the good old days and I prefer to work smarter not harder. Whats with all these escort directories that keep lifting (stealing is more like it) ads and posting them on their sites and then saying how nice they are to give us free advertising for a few months.

Thats bullshit. The reality of it is this: they are stealing marketing materials, your copy you image you persona... they are capitalizing on the work YOU have done! Imagine if they took a Pepsi ad or a Betty Crocker ad and put it on their site and altered it how they wanted. They would be sued in no time flat. When one of these sites does this with one of my ads I immediately tell them my legal representative will be in contact. Notice I didnt say lawyer. Then I send them an invoice for using my stuff with some astronomical fee, like $50,000. They usually take my stuff down right away. But man wouldn't it be great if one day one of them actually paid it???
have a great season!

the artist is automatically granted a copyright on any original work in the USA. be careful to read the 'terms of use' if you upload that image to certain sites like backpage.com, you may be waiving rights. a decent form of protection is registering that work in the US is with the Library of Congress. If you need help i have a friend that does intellectual property work thru' http://FreePatentDrawings.com
