I know we are supposed to talk about EMP, but man must take a break from penis satisfaction at some point in time. So being from Ann Arbor, I am asking you boys from Ohio what you think about Jim Tressel resigning from his coaching position at Ohio State. Can Michigan beat Ohio State next year seeing as how you lose Tressel and we fired Rich Rod? I need to know right now.

OK, Jim Bob, bring back John Cooper so we can start winning again. hehe
The whole thing is really crazy about selling rings for tattoos and cash favors.
Go Blue! If you guys see my Michigan license plate in Ohio, have mercy on my soul

Ohio State Rules the Universe! No one can beat them! - BS!

I went to College there and the rivalry is just too ridiculous!
Too many fools live their life through college football outcomes.
There used to be riots, car burnings, crazy stuff in Columbus, and that
was when Ohio State won!

It's time to remove sports from Colleges. It's a place to get an education
and I am afraid that all these colleges place sports in front of that.
To the extent that 20% of every credit hour paid for goes to pay for
sports at that school.

I probably made a few mad with this statement, my apologies. We
must remember WHY we go to college....

I went to school to drink and party. And from what I remember, not only are major college football programs self-sustaining, they provide the funding for the less successful ones.

Oh I forgot, those business majors did nothing but drink and party there....unfortunately the curriculum for engineering was not so easy.....we could only drink and party on the weekend.Of course back then, the drinking age was 18 for 3.2 beer.

I think that self sustaining concept has gone....even for the monster schools.

Actually if you look at tuition breakdown today, which most state schools show openly, about 40% of the cost per credit hour is fees for all sorts of things at that school. In florida, in state tuition of $186 a credit hour breaks down into $103 for school and $83 in fees. works out to about $23 for sports) multiply that by 12 for a full time student semester and it adds up....multiply that by 50,000 students and it gets really big! lets see....23x12x50,000 = $13,800,000 for sport fees per semester. So what sport is self sustaining these days?? It used to be football, but with the university collecting over $26 million per year for sports....where is it going? Leave it to an engineer to provide an analysis! :

Well, football season starts soon. It's going to be strange playing Nebraska this year. And the Ohio State game is always the last game of the regular season. Our new coach Brady Hoke is a good guy, even if he was born in Ohio. But remember, Bo Schembechler was also from Ohio.

Tonight it's the Tigers and the Indians with Verlander pitching. Go Tigers. Beat the tribe.

Jim Bob,

I was not at the game, but watched it at home. Being a Michigan alum, I could get season tickets, but I never do. They also sell tickets in 4-packs, and the Notre Dame game was in one of the 4-pack specials. Some of the other 4-pack specials include games with Ohio State or Nebraska. I prefer to watch it at home.

I see Ohio State had some trouble with Toledo. The Michigan offense can score points quickly, but the defense would make Bo Schembechler spin in his grave. Michigan was also lucky on some of those under thrown passes that went for big gains. This is not Michigan football from the good old days, but it is fun to watch.

Go Blue!

Well Mr Bob, many are saying Nebraska is now the big team. Michigan's defense has more holes than Swiss cheese, so maybe Michigan-Ohio State will be a good game this year. What do you think of Coach Luke? The Lions have disappointed us so many times, it's hard to believe in them. But this time it looks like they have a good team. I predicted 8-8 at the beginning of the season.
