how can you tell which ones do this and which ones dont?

There's no sex trade. That's all BS. I was in this business from NYC to LA for 8 years. The only women to be sex slaves might & that's a big might be some Russians. There's 2 ways for an illegal Asian prostitute to get a green card. Marriage or if she can prove in a court of law that her life is in danger if she returns to her country & if she was abused (forced to have sex for $ let's say). It's a perfect system for the politicians(big buzz word SEX TRADE, SEX SLAVE) & the prostitute to stay here in the great USA. The cops save innocent girls & the girls don't go to jail & might get a green card. I've been in an immigration attorney's office & heard him ask my friend a Hungarian, "Are you sure your wife didn't abuse you because it sounds like she abused you & if she did & we can prove it than we have a good chance of you getting your green card without her. In actuality she just moved away one day without telling anyone & the marriage was just for the paperwork. I don't believe for 1 minute that there's a sex trade business in any AMP in the USA. If there is it certainly wouldn't be in a AMP that has a business front. It would be in a house or apartment.

Slavery is probably not the right term. Indentured servitude perhaps, in some cases. It seems that even in the sensationalist media coverage, the girls are shown to have made choices to get into the industry. Though there is always the claim of a "bait-and-switch" con on the girls.

Rock, I read the thread you linked to, but I still wonder what signs to look for if the girls are being mistreated/forced? There is an MP near me where covers always seem to be optional (customer's choice) and this concerns me, though it is not conclusive evidence.

Yes, these girls come to U.S for the part of the dream we fight for and die for; the DOLLAR, a better life here even in the worst of our neightborhoods. Some get lucky and land a job in a sweat shop or MP, some get it better by finding a sponsor or get a marriage partner and leave after all the paper is finished being filed. But,if you ask me; I have been into MPs were I can feel the pressure for them to please or be punished. It is called passive resistance, the girls are here and do not know who or how many are watching them, including the LE. Their families,loved ones or any one they care for are threatened or strong armed, so that they continue to preform for the dollar, which they see little or none of. Yes, gentlemen it is all about the dollar the cheaper the labor the highjer the profits, if you think it is only abroad, think again or get down to the street level of it all. If you can get to know your provider they are human, not just tools for pleasure, they live at the MP until they are trusted to go out into the city,yet they are warned/told they can not have relations outside the MP. If this is not a form of captivity what would you call it? "Freedom?"

It is kind of hard for most AMP girls to have relations outside the MP because most of them work 7 day a week!!
